FAMILY TREE DANCE
SATURDAY 10AM-10:55AM

Children begin their dance experience with family in a safe and supportive environment by exploring movement skills and concepts activities. A wide variety of music, stories, props, and rhythm instruments will be used in this playful and learning environment. In addition to being a lot of fun, parent- child class is a great preparation for very young children to eventually participate in a creative dance class on their own. This class will not be associated with the seasonal performances. Enrollment max 6

CREATIVE MOVEMENT
SATURDAY 11AM -11:55AM

This class is for dancers who are ready to be without a caregiver. Students will use concepts such as time, space, shapes and directions to explore dance. Using stories, props, imagery, games and types of music to encourage the development of strong bodies, self-confidence and self-awareness. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

DANCE MOVEMENT

WEDNESDAY 3:30PM - 4:30PM


This class explores creative self-expression. Students will learn common dance steps allowing them to improve strength and coordination.  Each class is tailored to meet the physical and developmental abilities of each age group. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

HIP HOP 4 KIDZ
TUESDAY 3:30PM - 4:30PM

Hip Hop is a great way to get kids moving! This class for ages 5-7 is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Class will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.  Enrollment max 8

HIP HOP - BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE
TUESDAY & THURSDAY 4:30PM - 5:30PM

This Hip Hop class is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing. Class will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Enrollment max 8

HIP HOP - INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
TUESDAY & THURSDAY 5:30PM-6:30PM

This Hip Hop class is for Intermediate/Advanced dancers. It is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing. Class will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Enrollment max 8

This class is for teens beginning level. It is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing. Class will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Max enrollment 8

CONTEMPORARY I -BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE
TUESDAY & THURSDAY 6:30PM - 7:30PM

This class focuses on providing young dancers ages 8-11 with a strong foundation of dance technique, etiquette and understanding. Exploration and use of imagination and creativity is encouraged. Students will develop a high level of focus, coordination and skill. Student are strongly encouraged to take elective classes of ballet or conditioning. Enrollment max 10

CONTEMPORARY II - INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
TUESDAY & THURSDAY 7:30PM - 9:00PM

These classes focus on providing young dancers ages 12+ with a strong foundation of higher level of dance technique, etiquette and understanding. CREATIVE PREBALLET 
THURSDAY 3:30PM-4:25PM

This class for ages 3-5 is a fun and creative introduction to ballet class. Exploring ballet technique & vocabulary through dance concepts that nurtures the whole dancer. Musicality, improvisation, and skill development are all a part of this developmentally appropriate ballet class. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and their capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

INTRO BALLET I
FRIDAY 3:30PM - 4:30PM

This class explores basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Basic turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.
This class is for beginning and first-time ballet students. Enrollment max 8

PRIMARY BALLET I
FRIDAY 4:30PM - 5:30PM

This class focuses on higher level basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Basic turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

BALLET II
WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY 5:30PM - 6:30PM

This class focuses on higher level ballet technique, proper body alignment, ballet vocabulary and musicality. Higher level turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.  

This class is for dancers who have already had a strong introduction to ballet technique. It would also be appropriate for older first-time dancers or as introduction to ballet for students with backgrounds in different dance disciplines. Student are strongly encouraged to take dance conditioning. Enrollment max 8

BALLET III/IV
WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY 7:30PM - 9:00PM

This class focuses on barre and center work become more advanced as movement sequences increase in complexity. Proper use of the head, focus, and musicality are emphasized. Traveling steps and choreographic combinations increase in complexity. Strengthening exercises for the legs and feet are incorporated in every class to begin pointe work. The body becomes better conditioned for advanced ballet work by increasing mobility and elasticity.
This class is appropriate for intermediate students, and requires special permission for first time dancers. Student are strongly encouraged to take dance conditioning. Enrollment max 8

JAZZ I/II

WEDNESDAY 6:30PM-7:30PM

This class is for beginning/Intermediate students; no prior dance required. Fun, energetic and exciting dance style with emphasis on basic ballet and jazz technique, strength and flexibility. Max enrollment 8

JAZZ II/III
FRIDAY 6:30PM-7:30PM

This class is for Intermediate/Advanced students or dancers with prior dance experience. Learn the latest moves while working on a strong technical background. Jazz is vibrant and full of energy. Max enrollment 8

EXPLORING DANCE IMPROV
SATURDAY 4:00PM-5:00PM

Dancers will explore improvisational dance: spontaneous, in-the-moment dance making, emphasizing curiosity, personal expression, and personal acceptance.  We will focus on efficient, healthy, and safe use of the body to explore improvisation through prompts regarding body, space, time, quality, and imagery.  We will dance to a variety of musical genres, including instrumental, electronic, avant-garde, indie pop, and world music. Maximum enrollment 8

DANCE CONDITIONING
SATURDAY 2:00PM-3:00PM

This class focuses on strengthening, toning, and stretching different parts of the body. The goal of dance conditioning is to provide a regimen of exercises for the development of a dancers physical endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Enrollment max 8

TAP 

PRIVATE LESSONS & SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS

This class is designed to help dancers develop rhythm, style and sound. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. Dependent on the students level they will learn some basic tap and jazz skills and build on levels.
