Classes will run depending on enrollment. If not enough enrollment, or enrollment decreases, a class may have to be canceled. In this case we will work our best to place students in a similar class. Space is Limited. If a class is full you will be placed on a wait-list and a new class/time may open depending on enrollment. You will be notified when a spot or class opens up. Enroll Now. See tuition & fees for cost and registration for discounts. Scholarships available for children's dance classes. Pay-What-You-Can is also available for Pilates and Yoga classes for those who have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic (just email us at daytodaydance@gmail.com for options).

PARENT/TODDLER
SATURDAY 10AM-10:55AM

Walking – 3

Children begin their dance experience with their parent or primary caregiver in a safe and supportive environment by exploring movement skills and concepts activities. A wide variety of music, props, and rhythm instruments will be used in this playful and learning environment. In addition to being a lot of fun, parent- child class is a great preparation for very young children to eventually participate in a creative dance class on their own. This class will not be associated with the seasonal performances. Enrollment max 6

CREATIVE MOVEMENT
SATURDAY 11AM -11:55AM

Ages 3-5

This class is for students who are ready to be without a caregiver. Students will use concepts such as time, space, shapes and directions to explore dance. Using stories, props, imagery, games and types of music to encourage the development of strong bodies, self-confidence and self-awareness. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

DANCE MOVEMENT
SATURDAY 12PM - 12:55PM

Ages 5–7

This class focuses on creative self-expression. Students will learn common dance steps allowing them to improve strength and coordination.  Each class is tailored to meet the physical and developmental abilities of each age group. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

HIP HOP 4 KIDZ
1:00PM - 2:00PM

Ages 5-7

Hip Hop is a great way to get kids moving! This class is an introduction to hip hop dance for the younger student. Using games and music, the class focuses on rhythm, musicality and basic footwork. Enrollment max 10

HIP HOP - BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE
TUESDAY - THURSDAY 4:30PM - 5:30PM

Ages 8-14

This Hip Hop class is open to all kids. The class is formatted to be accessible to students without dance experience, while offering enough challenging combinations for more experienced students. Enrollment max 10

HIP HOP - INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
TUESDAY - THURSDAY 5:30PM-6:30PM

 Ages 8-18  

This class is with instructor permission only. Dancers must have prior experience. 

This Hip Hop class is open to Intermediate/Advanced. For students with a high level of proficiency and understanding of movement and alignment concepts, who are ready for a deeper development of their personal expression as dancers. Enrollment max 10

CONTEMPORARY I -BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE
TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Ages 8-11

This class focuses on providing young dancers with a strong foundation of dance technique, etiquette and understanding. Use of imagination and creativity is encouraged. Students will develop a high level of focus, coordination and skill. Student are strongly encouraged to take elective classes of ballet or conditioning. Enrollment max 10

CONTEMPORARY II - INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 7:30PM - 9PM

Ages 12-18 

This class is with instructor permission only. Dancers must have prior experience. 

These classes focus on providing young dancers with a strong foundation of higher level of dance technique, etiquette and understanding. Use of imagination and creativity is encouraged. Students will develop a higher level of focus, coordination and skill. Student are strongly encouraged to take elective classes of ballet or conditioning. Enrollment max 10

PRE-BALLET
FRIDAY 4:30PM -5:30PM

Ages 3-5

A fun and creative introduction to ballet class. Exploring ballet technique & vocabulary through dance concepts that nurtures the whole dancer. Musicality, improvisation, and skill development are all a part of this developmentally appropriate ballet class. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and their capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

INTRO BALLET I
WEDNESDAY 4:30PM - 5:30PM

Ages 6-8

This class focuses on basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Basic turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.
This class is for beginning and first-time ballet students. Enrollment max 8

PRIMARY BALLET I
THURSDAY 3:30PM - 4:30PM

Ages 7-9

This class is with instructor permission only. Dancers must have prior experience. 

This class focuses on higher level basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Basic turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers. Enrollment max 8

BALLET II
WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Ages 8-10

This class is with instructor permission only. Dancers must have prior experience. 

This class focuses on higher level ballet technique, proper body alignment, ballet vocabulary and musicality. Higher level turns are introduced, and the flow of a traditional ballet class is established. BrainDance exercises will be incorporated into warm up every class to increase coordination and our capacity to learn and grow as dancers.  

This class is for dancers who have already had a strong introduction to ballet technique. It would also be appropriate for older first-time dancers or as introduction to ballet for students with backgrounds in different dance disciplines. Student are strongly encouraged to take dance conditioning. Enrollment max 8

BALLET III/IV
WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 6:30PM - 8:00PM

Ages 10-18 

This class is with instructor permission only. Dancers must have prior experience. 

Barre and center work become more advanced as movement sequences increase in complexity. Proper use of the head, focus, and musicality are emphasized. Traveling steps and choreographic combinations increase in complexity. Strengthening exercises for the legs and feet are incorporated in every class to begin pointe work. The body becomes better conditioned for advanced ballet work by increasing mobility and elasticity.
This class is appropriate for intermediate students, and requires special permission for first time dancers. Student are strongly encouraged to take dance conditioning. Enrollment max 8

POINTE (PRE-LEVEL I & II)
WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 8PM - 8:30PM

Ages 12-18 

This class is with instructor permission only. Dancers must have prior experience. 

Focus on pre-level I & II pointe work, advanced turns and jumps, detailed use of the head and upper body come into focus in this level. We will pay attention to fine details including breath with movement and performance expression. Our repertoire of ballet steps will expand alongside our knowledge of the precise translations of French ballet vocabulary. Concentration and memory are tested with greater volumes of choreography and a longer class time. 
This class is appropriate for intermediate/advanced students who have had significant ballet experience, and those students who are strong enough for pointe work. Students are strongly encouraged to take the Dance Conditioning Class as well. Enrollment max 8

DANCE CONDITIONING FOR DANCERS
FRIDAY 3:30PM - 4:30PM

Ages 8-18

It is very important that dancers are strong, physically fit, and able to endure the rigors of dance performance. This conditioning regime in progression ballet technique (PBT) and imagery allows dancers to opportunity to strengthen their bodies to compliment their technical and stylistic dance training and prevent injuries. Enrollment max 8

ADULT INTRO CONTEMPORARY/BALLET
MONDAY 6:30PM - 8PM

Beginning/Intermediate

It’s never too late to learn dance! If you have no dance experience, or it’s been years, this is the class for you. This dance fitness class will lead you through barre practice and center work focusing on proper form as you gradually build on the basic positions, correct body alignment and an introduction to ballet/modern terminology. This class is designed for the novice dancer with no previous experience required or for the student who want to refine their technique at a basic level. Enrollment max 8

ADULT HIP HOP FIT
5:30PM-6:30PM

Beginning/Intermediate

This Hip Hop class is open to adults. It is designed to challenge and entertain dancers that are new to the scene. Our instructor provide classes where students will develop body strength, core conditioning, flexibility and stamina. Building upon the basic foundations of Hip Hop and technique, students are taught fun choreography and are provided an engaging classroom experience. Enrollment max 8

All Levels

This group exercise program is designed to work your abs, back, thighs & buttocks. This discipline emphasizes correct form to help develop strength, flexibility, muscle endurance, coordination, balance and good posture. For all skill levels. Enrollment max 10

GENTLE YOGA
MONDAY 8AM-9AM

All Levels

Originating from India, yoga uses physical postures (asanas) combined with breath work (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana) to improve overall well-being. All levels of ability are welcome in this class. We meet you where you are and do the yoga that works for your body. Enrollment max 10
